The Govt. of Kerala has been celebrating June 19th as the Day of reading and the following week as the reading week in memory of the late Dr. P.N. Panicker, ‘Father of library movement in Kerala’. The P.N. Panicker Foundation in collaboration with Niti Aayog, MHRD, Govt. of India and National Digital Library of India is organizing the 25th PN Panicker National Reading Day/Month celebrations 2020 from 19th June, 2020 to 18th July, 2020. Library KV Bhilwara is celebrating June 19th as the Day of reading and the following week as the reading week.This day is very important for students and teaching community so to mark the ocassion all the students and staff of school must take the Reading Day Pleadge.

Reading Week 2020
KV GC CRPF, Agartala going to celebrate reading week for the honour of P N Panicker from 19th Jun 2020 to 25th Jun 2020. All students are invited to participate in the events during Reading Week. Students are required to participate in at least one activity.

READING DAY PLEDGE
Today I stand and pledge with full faith of my ability to grow
through reading and discussions. I pledge to promise the
development of my country, Bharat, through judicious
reading of books, as well as digital reading and through right
action. I shall read books and practice digital reading, for
knowledge as well as technological empowerment. I shall
shine the light of knowledge gained, to solve the problems I
face as well as the challenges that affect my country.
I realize that today we face multiple challenges, be it
corruption, substance abuse or environmental problems. I
shall make reading a habit and be a solution to these
challenges. I shall ensure best compliance to the legal
framework of my country and shall strive for a secure and
secular atmosphere. I shall strive to raise high, the value of
knowledge, and the pride of my country with my thoughts,
words and deeds.
